Overview

The purpose of the program is to educate and raise awareness of scientists dealing with economic, environmental and energy issues in electricity costing, environmental management, natural resource management, knowledge of policies related to the environment, climate change and the industrial economics and the impacts of unexpected events and environmental hazards to the environmental sustainability.

By underlining the advantage of multidisciplinarity provided to the students we emphasise to the spherical image of the existing situation. Even when a scientist is focused on one specialization it is important to have fundamental knowledge regarding the general condition that may affect the situation, he/she examines. Our program provides specialization through the optional courses chosen during the second semester, however, the student will gain knowledge from different approaches regarding the economic activities, environmental sustainability, climate change and energy policy. The program focuses on the need to shape economic and environmental scientists with a multidimensional vision consciousness, people who are able to provide solutions to the uncertainty of future prosperity. Cosmos University aims to create a center of excellence in the study and teaching of this complex phenomenon so that graduates gain the necessary knowledge to practice their profession and at the same time be imbued with a high sense of moral responsibility towards individuals and society in general.

In general, the Program, among other things, provides students with the necessary knowledge for the professional and ethical provision of their services as members of the scientific community related to sustainable environmental and energy management.

The programme studies duration is 1½ years (18 months) and to qualify for the «Master in Sustainable Environmental and Energy Management and each student will be required to complete 90 ECTS in total. There are “core” and “elective” courses
